This year we have decided to have Science on Friday afternoons. We are going to call this time "Mad Science". We will begin working on science process skills and then move into studying Matter, Changes in Matter, the Solar System, and Ecosystems.

Our second investigation in 5th grade centers around environmental issues. We take an extensive look at the Deer Population Issue, as well as other issues facing our animal population in Wyandotte and Johnson Counties. If you have any expertise in these areas, we would love to hear from you.
