Language Arts

Dear Parents, Guardians and Students;

Thank you for stopping by the fifth grade Language Arts web page. In fifth grade the students will participate in small, whole, and individualized reading and writing groups.

Your child will be working on writing each work. On Thursdays, your child will bring home their paper to be edited with you so they can be successful in their writing.

Reading logs are due each Friday with a minimum of 100 minutes reading time at home. Try and make this as fun as possible.

Your child will also be responsible for a book report each month. A detailed explanation can be found below.
