Jennifer McConico is a social worker. She believes that the engaged community and staff make USD 204 great. “The school system has a responsibility to ensure that future community leaders are equipped to lead.” She will ensure that the board makes decisions based on the representation of the whole community. “To ensure that all students, all staff, and the community are represented in all district decision making,” she says.

Angie Thomas works as a Client Engagement Specialist and previously taught at Bonner Springs Elementary. Her primary goals on the school board are to provide assistance and support to teachers, enabling them to guide and educate the students effectively; and to foster stronger connections and interactions between schools and families. She says, "The school system plays a vital role in fostering community cohesion and development. It serves as the beating heart that unites us. To ensure the prosperity of the Bonner Springs and Edwardsville communities, it is essential that we make meaningful investments in our students, recognizing them as the driving force behind our future."

Kim Beets works as a library director. While she serves on the school board her priority is to help better our community.
She says, “I believe in the power of education with my whole heart and I want to make a difference in my community.” She believes that working with the members of the community makes USD 204 special. “Together we are a team that is always working hard to do what is best for our students. What makes USD 204 so great is the people and the support we get from our community.”

Dave Pierce works in insurance sales. He believes that great teachers and administration, as well as a supportive community, are what makes USD 204 great. His goals as a member of the Board Of Education are to improve the quality of education and the success of students after high school. He also strives to make sure that all staff are content and satisfied with their jobs.

Ashley Razak works as the Communications Coordinator in the Basehor-Linwood School District. She plans to ensure that the best decisions are being made for our school district. She believes that the school district is important because it helps bring together both the Bonner Springs and Edwardsville communities. She believes that USD 204 is great because “Our teachers make USD 204 great! Especially with the task of developing Continuous Learning in the spring of 2020, they have gone above and beyond to reach each one of their students. It is evident they only have the best interest of our students in mind!”

Chris Russell works as a firefighter and has children who attend schools in the USD 204 school district. As a member of the Board of Education, he hopes to help USD 204 achieve its goals of providing excellent academic opportunities for all students. Mr. Russell believes that the different communities within USD 204 make it great; “This includes the community of administrators and teachers desiring the best for all students, the students that strive for excellence in achieving their goals, the business partners that help make the district a better place, and the parents and residents of USD 204 all working together,” he says.

Jeff Tinberg works as a sales representative. He believes that the school system helps define the community. He says, “In many respects, the school system defines the community. Schools are often the social hub of the community. Whether it be school activities or social/cultural events on district property, the school system is truly of and for the community.” While serving as a member on the school board he plans to make sure that all students in the district are offered the best education possible. “As we enter a post-Covid world we have so many more challenges in education, but we have so many opportunities as well. I want to lend my experience and skills to make sure we are prepared for this transition.”
